In this Advent episode, we dive into history and the land of Israel to paint a picture of the world Jesus was born into. Our desire over this 3-part series is to explore the world of Jesus so as to better understand our Messiah. Today, we dive into the birth story of Jesus found in Luke 2 in order to discuss Jesus’ birth place, time of year Jesus was born, his family’s economic situation, and the amazing proclamation of Good News for all people to nearby shepherds.
